How do I find my default router username and password?
To locate the default username and password for your router you could look in its manual. However, you’re here because you’ve probably misplaced it. Just enter your router make or model in the search box below and we’ll show you the login IP and default router password and username as well.
How do I change or reset my router password?
To reset your router’s password, you will need to reset it to its default factory settings. Doing this will wipe every change, and reset the router to its original status, so do it at your own discretion. To carry out the reset, you will need to hold the reset button for 10 seconds, and then you will be able to log in using the default router login details displayed below.
You should always change the default router password and Wifi settings to avoid people having unrestricted access to it.
How do I log into my router?
- Use the search box to find the default router login details for your router
- Open a browser (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc)
- Type in the default router IP into the address bar (usually 192.168.1.1)
- Enter the username and password
- You’ve now logged into your router!
