About this app

Keepass2Android is an open source password manager application for Android. It is compatible with the popular KeePass 2.x Password Safe for Windows and aims at simple synchronization between devices.

Some highlights of the app:
* Stores all your passwords in a securely encrypted vault
* compatible with KeePass (v1 and v2), KeePassXC, MiniKeePass and many other KeePass ports
* QuickUnlock: Unlock your database once with your full password, re-open it by typing just a few characters - or your fingerprint
* Synchronize your vault using the cloud or your own server (Dropbox, Google Drive, SFTP, WebDAV and many more). You can use "Keepass2Android Offline" if you don't need this feature.
* AutoFill service and integrated soft-keyboard to safely and easily pass the passwords to websites and apps
* Many advanced features, e.g. support for AES/ChaCha20/TwoFish encryption, several TOTP variants, unlock with Yubikey, entry templates, child databases for sharing passwords and more
* Free and Open-Source

Best password manager ever! Seamless integration with desktop KeyPass. Easy to use, has biometric unlock, and lightweight. 2024 - Still the best! Works great with Android and biometrics. Does what it needs to do. Local or cloud hosted and insures that vendors don't have access to your password file. As a self-hostinf advocate, this is the way to go! Just remember to have backups!

Used it for years, works great. Just a heads up if you get a new phone and transfer all your apps to it, be sure to turn off biometric unlock then turn it back on. I think this is a common mistake a lot of people are making. The app needs to initialize itself with the phone's keystore and that doesn't happen by copying apps over.

I've been using this app for several years and it always works great and does everything I need it to. When you open it from dropbox, it automatically saves changes back to dropbox and gives a toast notification. I used to have an issue with dropbox making lots of "conflicted copies" which I would have to sync within the desktop application, but I found out this is greatly reduced by simply not using the "Quick Unlock" feature, which has the effect of closing the database instead of locking it.
