Having worked as an editor across a number of eclectic trade publications, becoming a Technical Writer at ProPrivacy.com has afforded Hannah the chance to get stuck into a matter closer to heart.
Hannah spent two years producing bespoke content for the electrical wholesaling, arcade, and theme park industries. So whether it meant in-depth interviews with the EDA regarding their ETIM initiative, falling over in VR gear, or trekking across europe to review the very best in roller coasters, Hannah has spun a few yarns in her time.
The passion for writing was innate as a child, nose-deep in books that took her out of her Welsh seaside hometown, and steered Hannah to pursue it through college and university. There, she frequently challenged her creative edge as well as the rulebook, creating narratives with tarot, mixed-media installations and radically adapting novels for radio and television. In 2017 the hard work paid off, and Hannah graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University with a 1:1 in Creative Writing.
Hannah's interest in technology came from a similar childhood root - a nicer way of saying she was plugged into a PS1 for hours at a time. A love of the console grew over the years to a keen interest in gaming and esports, as well the systems that power them.Hannah also owes a lot of her creative inspiration to classic Bioware RPGs and Final Fantasy titles - and particularly the friends she’s made in Eorzea.
Having returned to the North-West, Hannah is enjoying being closer to home and embarking on a new professional chapter where her dream of writing professionally and interest in online security have perfectly dovetailed.
